To integrate the Site-Alive service in a site, it will suffice to enter an HTML code in the desired pages. This system makes it possible for Site-Alive not to be intrusive, and it can be integrated in any platform, since it is totally separate from the operating system.
Once the code has been included, the communications button will be displayed, which will show whether or not there are any operators connected 3. Whenever there is an operator connected, the button will read Online and will permit site users to start a conversation. If there are no operators connected, the users will be able to send a message that will be answered by mail.
One must keep in mind that the service is based entirely on the integration and, therefore, on the communications button. If you wish to make a proactive monitoring of the users on your website, all the pages you wish to “audit" must have the code integrated, because otherwise, when the user goes from one page to another, we could lose track of them.
Basic Integration Code: we can obtain the basic integration code from the administration area, in the Buttons & Banner section. It will suffice to copy and paste the text in the TextArea on screen in the desired pages. This code will permit using the basic service, without customization of any kind.
The code obtained on this page will already be customized for the administrator’s account and their language. The code is as follows:
|UID||Unique Identifier of the administrator’s account. One can use either the numerical or the encrypted ID. This information can be found in View / Company info: Affiliation Code. The number marked in red is the affiliation code and the text between parentheses is the encrypted affiliation code. Both can be used in the integration.|
|LANG||Language in which the administrator wishes to display the service button. It can take the following values:
“en” = English
“es” = Spanish
“fr” = French
“ge” = German
“it” = Italian
The following examples show the code for administrator 1 in English, with the login without encryption:
